Formerly known as David Haigh Engineers Ltd, we have been established for over a 100 years. Our forte was ornate iron work with fences being our main stay then as time went by we started to make fire exits and metal stair cases.

David Haigh’s were taken over by Paul & Sandra Thorp in the 1990’s and took the company in a different direction. The company started to manufacture for the transport industry before it became the logistics industry as its known today

At their Miln Road site the company made equipment from Transit Cages, Security Cages, Sack Carts, Lane Boards, Mail Bag Racks and Platform Trucks. The company then relocated in 2000 to its present site at Canal Street where in 2003 the present owners took over the running of the company and set out to expand into other markets.

Today the company continues to supply the logistics industry with all their material handing equipment .In addition the company has also started to supply the bedding, paint and printing industries with made to order cages to meet particular material handling issues.

As a company we pride ourselves on being able to offer solutions to solve any material movement /handling problems.

Recently security is an area the company has moved into, offering custom made enclosure for use with standard pallet racking.
